Moving NILMDTS moments

“To ease another’s heartache is to ease one’s own.” ~ Abraham Lincoln I’ve been volunteering as a photographer with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS) since this past December and today I was called out to do my 8th session with a little one who was taken from this world far too soon. […]

Connie Bristow - Amanda, thank you for sharing such tender and personal thoughts. What a wonderful service NILMDTS does and it is so admirable that you and other photographers with such caring hearts give the families such a beautiful gift. As always, I am so proud of you and thank God for bringing you to my nephew and to our family.

Bless his little heart.

“The best & most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart.” ~Helen Keller Last month when I decided to give two photo sessions to help raise funds for Relay for Life I found myself touched by the stories many shared with their donations. Through […]

Betsy - Thank you so much Amanda! Andrew is a hard subject to photograph these days, but you did an awesome job. Steve & I have faced no greater challenge than being Andrew’s parents, but it’s nothing compared to the blessing our sweet boy is to us every day! Having photos of our family is very precious to me! Thank you!

Jo Anderson - It is so wonderful to see Andrew make such progess. I was at Pinto’s for the fund raiser and remember talking to the family while Andrew was still in the hospital. It was heart breaking than because it was a moment at a time of what would happen. But to see this beautiful child now brings tears of happiness instead of worry. He is an absolutely beautiful child and will break some girls heart when he is older with those eyes. I am so happy for this family to have this special child and surviving the odds. May they be blessed throughout the rest of his life and the photo’s show all the moments they can look forward to.

Stacie Price - Now that I’ve wiped the tears from my eyes, I can see to write a comment. I am so moved by these photos as I reflect on the incredible journey this family is traveling. It truly is a reminder of how precious the time is that we all have together. I couldn’t help but remember Steve when he was Andrew’s age. How quickly these moments are gone. Thank you so much for this gift to all of us.

Matt & Lynn’s maternity session

At some point in the midst of the barrage of newborn photo sessions I did this past November I was contacted by Matt who was interested in planning a maternity photo session with his wife. Though I prefer to specialize in newborn photography I’m beginning to receive more inquiries about maternity photos as well. This […]

April Kelly - The pictures are too beautiful. Katie, Isaiah is getting so big and he is adorable! I just took the kids to Bok this week too, it’s a beautiful place. Bok Tower is in my neck of the woods and I’d volunteer my cuties to be subjects any time your friend is out there shooting. Amanda, please send me a business card :-) Your pictures are fantastic

Addison at Bok Tower

When we decided to take the trip to Bok Tower I informed a few others I’ve done photography for before of our trip and was glad to see that Joyia and Addison were able to meet up with us for a few photos. I just saw Addison last month, but it’s amazing how quickly babies […]
